John Haney, Harrison Co, ??? Maybe

I am looking for information on a John Haney, dob unknown. The "story" is he married in Panola Co in 1884. He reportedly told his wife he had left multiple wives and could leave her too. He said he was going to town (Carthage, I would suppose) to get some whiskey for the hives. After he was gone for a while, his wife had someone check to see if he had taken his toothbrush. He had. He never came home. He is reported to have married a woman from around the Waskom area or Blanchard, LA. I am hoping he may be on the 1900 census, tho I'm not sure he would have answered the door when the census taker arrived.

If anyone has any information on John Haney in the 1890-1900 time frame, please contact
Lori669657@aol.com, or
Loretta at Digmug41@aol.com

Thanks
