Mark: Gibbs Memorial Library in Mexia has on online database of published obits for the period but she is not indexed. Looking at the death certificate I see that she was never married and the informant on the DC was "hospital records" which suggests to me that she might have given the information. This might explain why there was no obit in the local paper (Limestone County), there was no close next-of-kin or friend to see that one was published. Assuming that she had a funeral/memorial service maybe a short notice appeared in the Houston paper but, then again, maybe that didn't even happen. Online cemetery transcriptions are very often only partials from standing stones so about all I can suggest is to try and contact the cemetery or the funeral home for info. Rick
