In Reply to: seeking info on Jesse A Brown b 1864 MO, lived in Harris CO TX 1930 census by Marie Anderson of 1464

According to Izetta Lee Brown's death certificate, she was born to P. C. Stubblefield (b. in TN) in Missouri on 24 May 1864 and died 20 Aug 1934 in Houston. She was buried at Hollywood Cemetery, located on North Main in Houston, adjacent to Holy Cross Cemetery. She was married when she died. Heights Undertaking Company handled the funeral arrangements. Myocarditis was the cause of death.

Per his death certificate, Jesse Albin Brown was born 3 Jun 1864 and died 23 Feb 1938 in Houston of penile cancer. He was also buried at Hollywood Cemetery.

I also found a death certificate for one of their daughters, Bessie Mae Medlenka. She was born in Goldthwaite, TX, 18 Dec 1885 and died 11 Jan 1953 in Houston. She was also buried at Hollywood.

The death certificate for their son Ertle Leroy Brown shows he was born 27 Jan 1890 in Texas and died in Houston 12 Mar 1970. He was buried at Woodlawn Garden of Memories.

Although the site requires free registration, the death certificate information, including images, is available at https://beta.familysearch.org/
