My grandmother "Bessie" Ogg died in the Heights of TB on 16 Jan 1926. I have her death cert. Family stories have it that her mother in law caught pneumonia at her funeral - according to the death cert, that was 26 Jan 1926 - and died soon after...
I can't find death details for Emma Ogg, but wondered if she may have had a published obit in the Houston paper. She had remarried a few years earlier to A.J. Heflin, so may appear as Emmaline "Emma" Heflin or as Emma Ogg.
Finally, I have one very unconfirmed family note that Emma died on 19 Jan 1926 - which doesn't fit with the first story, but just indicates that she may well have died 'soon' after her daughter in law...
Any help that anyone could give me would be very appreciated - can't do some things easily from New Zealand!
