Frank (Francis) R. Lubbock died in Hardin?

I'm trying to find any vedrification of the death of Frank aka Francis Richard Lubbock. He presumably died in 1924 in Saratoga, Hardin, Texas. B. Abt. 1846 in Texas, houstan area. He is the nephew of F.R. Lubbock, Gov. of Texas during the civil war.

My problem is, I can't find him in the 1920 census, but I do find his wife, Elizabeth Lucinda Cheveral Lubbock who lists herself as a widow and is living in Justice Precinct 7, Hardin, Texas with her daughter Edna Bertha Lubbock Miller in 1920. Both Francis and Elizabeth lived there in 1910.

I've looked in the Texas death index on Ancestry.com and find no record of his death.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mark
