James L. Kirby - Kirby Hospital Silsbee

I am desperately looking for any information regarding Silsbee's first hospital on North 8th street (and the actual building itself.)
I know it was in operation until 1933. That is when the tax records begin. However, I cannot find when it first became the hospital. I have been told it was in operation during the flu epidemic of the late teens. I am trying to establish when the actual building was built and put together a chronological history of it. I know that James L. Kirby (of the Kirby Hill House) moved there with his 2nd wife Mattie Payne (before it was a hospital.) Again, I cannot find dates. A 1907 Silsbee phone directory lists his name but without an address.
I have been told 1911, 1907, 1903, and 1896 as possible years it was built.

Also if anyone knows any stories from when it was apartments/boarding house.
I am interested in anything big or small.
