I am just embarking on the genealogy adventure for the Holmes Family but I do know that my Father, Quintonhew Holmes, Was born May 02, 1924 in either Silsbee or Beaumont, TX. He took me back to Silsbee to visit relations when I was approx. 11 years old. Remember fishing on the Sabine River with him. His father was Jesse J. Holmes, b. May 16, 1894, d. July, 1966, m. Edna UNKNOWN, last resided in Seattle, Washington. Silsbee is in Hardin County, Texas in case you were wondering where this was going. I am also looking to find out more about relations in that area. Please keep in touch. I have additional information also.

Gary Raymond Holmes
