They were only in Sour Lake for a couple years, so I don't remember their names. As I recall, their father worked for the Texas Pipe Company (Texaco), same as my Dad, and we were all transferred from place to place every few years or so.

I recently added Richard Evans and his family to my file. He was from Georgia, so I didn't figure he was one of yours. I have no idea who his parents were. He was born November 07, 1813 and died April 20, 1899 in Texas. Buried in Providence Cemetery, Hardin Co., Texas. He was in Texas before 1850 and eventually had seven kids by his 1st wife and one by his second. I only have their names as recorded by census records. Just in case you can use them, I updated my file on RootsWeb so you can see them at:

The Felps Cemetery was included in my previous search for Edward H. Evans, but I looked again for Lance Rosier. On his stone as read 2-28-74:

Lance Rosier "Mr. Big Thicket" b. 6-16-1886 d. 3-12-1970
Tx. Pvt. Co. C., 360 Inf. 90 Div. WW I

There are several other nearby Rosier names that appear to be related.
