I am not at all familiar with this branch of the family Louise, so can't tell you anything beyond the census data. I went to school in Sour Lake back in the early 1950's with some Evans that were supposed to be distant kin, but we didn't know how. It appears from census records that Robert and Mattie could not have children, so the kin would not have been through them.

As for Billy Sheppard, your guess is as good as mine. The only Sheppards in my database are of the 1700's and are not associated with the Jordan line.

So, I wasn't a bit of help, was I? Sorry 'bout that.
