It was Charles Tanton (not John H. Tanton) and Senia Ann Aurora Hester who had children Paul, John, Maggie, Jack, Elizabeth, and Rufus (is this the "Buddy" you're referring to?).

Jack Tanton (1895-1971), son of Charles and Senia, was married to Violet Rebecca Goins (1901-1995); they were married on 23 June 1918 in Jasper Co., TX. Violet appeared as his wife in all censuses up through 1930. I don't have any record of Jack being married to a woman named Rosie.
