On pg 158 of "A History of Hamilton County, Texas", vol 2 is Edward Jasper Wyatt - listed as a trustee for the Rockhouse School in 1879. NE of Hamilton about 6 miles.

Check the Hamilton Co, TX GenWeb site, they have some good information online, and be sure to post your query there, too.

Have you been in touch with the Hamilton Co, TX Genealogical Society? They have a very nice library of their own, and might have something on the coffin maker.
