[information is typed and after "mother's maiden name" Laura Drake, someone wrote in Verified.]
You can view beautiful double headstone for Paris and his wife and Ralph and his wife in the IOOF Cemetery, on Find a Grave site.

I see on Find a Grave Elreeta Weathers has entered information for Holden and some of his family. She has the link to Paris buried in Coryell Co, you might let her know about these other two, Cora and Willis. She would know how to enter their information and create links to their headstones in other cemeteries, too.

Elreeta is webmaster for the site started by her husband Ray -- http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gazetteer2000/ -- If you haven't used this site, be sure to check it out. Lots of good stuff on there.

One of my favorite sources is land records. Today people say follow the money, but back in those days it was follow the land. If Holden's father owned any land you want to see what happened to it. On that 1850 census William Atkinson shows land worth $800.00, was it his to begin with, or had it been Holden's father's land??????

Check tax records for Shelby Co, AL. Does Laura show up on tax list? If so, check back until she isn't on there and see what male Drake is on there, probably her husband. In other words, when he dies the next year she will be on the tax record.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
