Harold Stone, Ohio, TX. 1920's?
Posted by: Katie Brennan (ID *****5155) Date: June 25, 2011 at 08:43:11

I am searching for information regarding the gentleman I believe to be my grandfather on my mothers side. I believe his name to be Harold Stone, he apparently came from Ohio, county Hamilton, Texas. During WW2 he was based in Crewe, England (my hometown) and met my grandmother, Eveline Gurtrude Hope. My grandmother became pregnant and gave birth to Yvonne(Bonnie)Ann Hope (my mother)on March 16th 1945. I have been told that Harold Stone was sadly killed while in service at sea near to Korea. I have been told that Harold's parents owned a ranch in Ohio, Texas. Any information, however insignificant it may seem, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
