Good morning, Don:

There was no location for the Goggin-Whaley marriage. is FREE through July 31. You may select GENE POOL database and find the Whaley references.

Regarding Matilda Goggin Whaley, d/o Rebecca Daugherty (same source): the Doughertys of VA, KY and points west are a huge family. Two brothers married daughters of Stephen Sr. in Bedford Co., VA and later migrated to KY.

The other Mary (Polly) Whaley reference is in Ancestry's World Tree listing.

My line moved from Bedford to Madison and Pulaski Counties , KY and settled most prosperously, it seems.

I had copied your various messages re VA>GA>AL>MS>TX and just this week reread them. I liked your work so I did a "don burks" search and read your Hamilton Co., TX bios, etc. Enjoyed them. This AM I visited Elreetha Weathers site for Hamilton Co. Very nice!

I am currently doing a huge search-sort-file project on all of Stephen Sr.'s descendants.
The problem is that retrieval of data depends upon my memory until I enter the data into Family Tree Maker on my computer. It's a challenge.

Happy hunting...Susie B in MI
