Hello Ruthie,
First thank you for responding to my query. Next, is my connection. Eliza Hicks was a half sister to my great-grandfather James Thomas Hicks. I have tracked there father down as it to being William Alexander Hicks, and his father be James Hicks. Eliza is also sister to George Hicks, who as Eliza died in St. Louis, Missouri. Just lately I have contacted some of George's descendants in St. Louis. Actually it would be his grandson, but his wife is doing the communicating. Eliza also went by the name of Ruby, which threw me off track for a while, till I figured out that she went by but names. I live in 700 miles away from Missouri, so I only get to research in Missouri just every so often. I am trying to track down Ruby's children as to when and where they lived and etc. Winfrey Snelling was actually a minister in the St. Louis area. I am responding both ways by the query and the email they have listed for you. That way you have my direct email address to me.
I think I read a query by you on another site, that was listed years ago, but you had a different email address so it didn't go through. Let me know if you wish to exchange information. I appreciate anything I can get and I do share.
Bob
