I'm looking for information on John Newton Smith, b: March 1842,Ill. married Emiline ( Emma ) Matilda Knapp , Feb. 14, 1867, she was born Nov. 1842 ,Ill.? , They were living in Hamilton Co. Texas , before 1900. After 1900 I lost them I'm trying to find out where they were buried. They were not on the census after 1900's for Hamilton Co. Tx. they may have moved to Dallas Co.,Tx at that time. Any information would be appreciated, I would love to share information with someone researching this family. I think after Emma died John N. Smith remarried a woman from Carlton ,Tx. by the name of Foster?
Thanks,
Margie Kinser Karasek
