Have you visited the Hamilton Co, TX GenWeb site? Ray Weathers is the webmaster, and his wife Elreeta hosts the Hamilton Co, TX Gazetteer site. It is chuck full of goodies and a growing site, too.

Using the search feature for the gazetteer site, I typed in Gordon and up came 184 items. Gordon is common so many may not be tied to your direct line. I typed in Huckabee and up came 25 items. You might want to go through some of these items.

Post your query on the GenWeb county site, someone may recognize the names.
