Hi Terry, Thank you for the information.I have been to the grave since posting that message and have a pretty good picture of it. Her full name is Amanda Elizabeth Sparks O"Hair Rogers if you can imagine!!! I have seen the name Standifer but cannot connect it with certainty. It would be nice to know about the Williams buried there also.
Why else would they be buried so close, right? A cousin told me that a daughter is buried to the right of her headstone but that's all I can remember. I go to Carlton every year to visit the grave of my gr-gr-grandfather, Samuel Everett Rogers, who is buried in the middle of a cow pasture (since 1863)located off County road 2823.
