Is THIS Frank ..... (brother to Sylvester) ......??? North Fairview Cemetery, Hall County, Texas has a GWINN, F. M. {born May 22, 1867)(died Aug 2, 1942) and GWINN, ELEZABETH (born June 26, 1870)(died Aug 4, 1952) Sect. R, Block 375. Plots 7 & 8.
------ I have been told by many other family members that Frank moved to Memphis & died. I searched Tennessee but no luck. After I found this cemetery info. I looked at a map and was shocked to find Memphis, TX in Hall County.
In my part of the Gwinn family, Great-grandfather Sylvester Lewis Gwinn (born 1864) had a few brothers (Frank & George W. Gwinn) and sisters (Mary & Belle Gwinn) which settled in the Dallas, Fort Worth, Wichita, Electra, Seymour Texas area around 1887, 1890, 1900, 1910 ..... etc. Weather these brothers & sisters arrived at the same time in TX, or came separate is a mystery. The family suspects more bro.’s & Sis.’s originated in the Bowling Green, Warren Co. KY and Allen Co. KY area.
