I do not have a list of the NEWTON members buried at Concrete Cemetery but I
know that they are descendants of Joshua Newton b abt 1780 Duplin Co, NC and
wife Elizabeth Wooten. they had a total of 12 children.
My notes indicate that Elizabeth Wooten Newton b 11 Feb 1791 d 16 Feb 1837
is buried there along with children:
James Henry Newton b 1809 d 06 Feb 1882
Joel Wooten Newton b 10 Nov 1815 d 16 Jan 1856 m. Mary Elizabeth Hammond
Just got a list of the children today and it did not indicate where any of the others
buried...
My 3 great grand father, William Robert New, had two brothers who married
two Newton sisters of the above:
George Gilbert New m Tabitha Newton bur O'Brien Ranch in Goliad
James Boney New m Mary Azzora Newton bur Gooch Cemetery, Mason, Tx

I don't know anything about the Concrete Cemetery but have quite a bit on the
Family and am looking for more... would be glad to exchange
