Hi, I am really interested in the book concerning Marions beginning. I have been searching for information about Martha Jane [Mattie]Perry Yant that came to Marion Texas in 1871 with her husband Charles Larken Yant. She had three children but then died in childbirth in 1878. She and baby buried in Marion but I have not been able to find where. The family moved back to Tennessee after her death.
Would there be any information on this family in the Marion Book? Thank you, Doris
