Thursday October 31, 1935
Pioneer Laid to Rest
F.H. Harris, pioneer settler of Guadalupe County, but more recently of a resident of Hot Springs, Ark. died Saturday, April 20, 1935. He was 89 years, 10 months and 7 days of age.
A gathering of friends were present at the Brushy Creek cemetery Tuesday morning to pay their last respect to their departed friend. Dr. Draper, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Luling, led the divine services, after which his body was laid to rest besdie his companion, who had preceded him many years before.
He is survived by foud sons, Britt, of Kingsbury, J.L. Luling, J.F. Blythville, ARK. and E.L. of Seguin. A number of grandchildren also survive.
He was proceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. William Francis.
