J.V. Wright possible connection to George Washington Wright of Texas?

I am seeking information regarding my great, great grandfather, J.V. Wright. He married Annie Stidham in Caldwell County, Texas May 3, 1881. I have a copy of a photo of J.V. and Annie taken in Luling, Caldwell County, Texas.

I was wondering if there could be a connection between my J.V. Wright and George Washington Wright who was married to Isophena Miers. The 1880 Guadalupe Co. Texas Census lists George Washington Wright as having a son, Joel V. Wright, who would be the appropriate age for my J.V. Wright. Another son, George, is also listed on this census. My gg grandfather, J.V. Wright, mentioned a brother George in a letter fragment that I have. In addition, J.V.Wright named his only son, Joe.

Another note of interest pertaining to the letter fragment written by J.V. Wright to his wife, Annie, in Prairie Lea, Texas, is the mention of “George Miers.” This caught my eye since George Washington Wright was married to Isophena Miers (Myers).

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
