Hi - my great grandmother was Nancy "Nannie" Scott. She was born in 1862 in Alabama - but her family moved to Guadalupe County, Texas - they are in the 1870 census for Guadalupe County. At that time there were three children listed in the census, W. M. Scott, Nancy (Nannie) Scott, and Leonedas A. Scott. WHen was Matilda born? Could certainly be her sister. Her father was L. S. Scott and her mother was Martha - don't know Martha's maiden name. Nannie died in 1890 when my grandmother was 2 years old. Nannie married Moses E. Wright in Caldwell County, Texas in 1882. Moses & Nannie lived in Guadalupe County. I believe my grandmother and her two sisters were all born in Guadalupe County, Texas. My grandmother's relatives all lived in Caldwell, Guadalupe & Gonzales Counties. Mostly Guadalupe COunty. My email address is djmc@wt.net.
