Did you know Hannah obtained a Texas Confederate widow's pension? Some of those widow pension applications contain some good information. Usually they begin with the widow proving she was married to the deceased veteran, giving information on when and where they were married. She should be giving date of her late husband's death, too. You just don't know what will pop up in those pension applications.

Faw, Hannah M.; #45766; Grimes Co; husband -- Faw, Lemuel [No number for his pension, so he apparently did not apply.]
