Hi Annie,

I don't know if there are any pages missing from Grimes Co., but I have been unable to find my gg-grandfather - John Dillard Nash - in the 1870 census. The family is living in Grimes Co. in 1860, and John fought with Co., D, 12th Texas inf during the Civil War. He came home sick from the war, and according to his wife's Confederate pension application (and bible records), John died in Grimes Co., in 1871.

I suspect there are some missing pages....

Regards,
Mike Meyer
