James Amason Philip Travis

Somewhere I ran across a researcher named Bill Rushing who was inquiring about James Amason Philip Travis and wife Clara Lacy/Lacey who married and lived in Grimes County, but the email address no longer works. JAP Travis applied for a Civil War Pension. I understand that he was the son of Adrianna E. Callaway and Phillip Travis of Wilcox County, Alabama. I feel sure that this Phillip Travis was the son of John Travis, my ggg-grandfather. Would love to find Bill Rushing or anyone else who is researching this Travis line.
