J.K.P. Harris d.1925 Confederate Fiddler

I am trying to find any information about James Knox Polk Harris (Harriss) who was born Oct 2, 1846 and who died June 17, 1925 in Longview, Gregg Co., TX at the age of 79. He lived for many years in Hood Co. near Granbury, TX. Don't know when he moved to Gregg Co. or why, but he is buried in White Oak Cemetery between Longview and Gladewater. He served in 15th Texas Cavalry, and also was highly esteemed as a crackerjack oldtime country fiddler who won many contests. I am very interested in his reputation as a fiddler and would love to hear from anyone with any information, clippings, photos, family stories, etc. about J. K. P. Harris. I was in Longview briefly one afternoon and located his grave but have never been able to scan Gregg Co. newspapers for mention of him. I have only a little information currently but am happy to share what I have. Thanks!
