Did Charlie use the name Chuck?

It just occurred to me that some guys named Charles went by the name Chuck. It is obvious he wanted to "get lost" when he walked out on his wife and children so he may have (1) changed his first name and/or (2) changed the year of his birth.

We are not wealthy people and are on dial-up. Slower than a freight train! If you computer goes really fast, just go to Ancestry.com and input the initial C as the first name, then Taylor. Check the census records for the father's birth place as MS and the mother's birth place as AL. If you can find one that has this info and he shows date of birth as anywhere from 1867 - 1873, you might have hit pay dirt!

Bedtime.
