Thank you for your reply. I have found out a great deal more information on Lewis and John. John's name is John Milton Moore, born in Harrison County, Texas on 12/6/1852.

Lewis and Sarah (not sure of last name. Think Lavaria is wrong) are on the 1860 census for Harrison County.

Lewis and Sarah are first found on the 1860 census for Harrison County, Texas:

176-183 L Moor 45 M - Farmer 200 10730 N C - (Born 1814-1815)
S A L Moor 26 F - - - - Ala - (Born 1833-1834) (2nd wife 19 years younger than Lewis)
Wm Moor 10 M - - - - Ala - (Born 1849-1850)
J M Moor 7 M - - - - Texas - (Born 12/6/1852) (John Milton Moore)
L A Moor 3 F - - - - Texas - (Born 1856-57)
E R Moor 5/12 F - - - - Texas (Born 1860)

Sometime between 1860 census and the 1880 census, Lewis has died and Sarah Ann Lavaria (?) Moore is on the farm with John and a daughter named Mary. Listed in the book, "Harrison County, Texas Caucasian Residents in 1880", by Nancy Blakeley Ruff.

I also have Sarah Bowles Moore's death certificate but can't find John's to see who his father and mother were and where born.
