If you look at the two RootsWEb entries, one shows his name as Herman Lafayette Evans, Jr.; the other is shown as Herman Loraine Evans, Jr. And it shows that Herman Lafayette Evans, Jr. has a sister named Loraine. Are you as confused as I am?
I just returned an email to the fella who posted these. His name is Doug and he lives in Wilson, North Carolina. Haven't been able to figure out how he came to have this information, i.e., how it ties in with the folks he is researching. In the email, I asked him to contact me directly at lazy-wife-36@hotmail.com so we wouldn't have to 'go through the channels' which takes up a lot of time. Feel free to do the same.
Just think! Next year the 1940 census records come out. Won't that be wonderful?
