Actually David and some members of his family are on the 1880, 1900 & 1910 census in Upshur Co, TX. And, he is on the 1920 & 1930 census in Gregg Co, TX.

I do not find him on the 1890 - 1976 Texas death index.

Looks like his father is Charles Littleton Bruner and someone is working on that line on Rootsweb's WorldConnect site. They show Charles buried in the Glenwood Cemetery in neighboring Upshur Co, TX. I checked the Upshur Co, TX GenWeb site and found several of the Bruners, including C.L., buried in Glenwood Cemetery, but no David listed. You might contact the person who is working on the family of Charles, he might have a contact working your branch.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
