Pat, yes I do have Ancestry.com all except the overseas part. A lot of my problem is that Charles Taylor is such a common name that you can't tell if it is mine or not. All the clues are there that this is my Charles Taylor, but his first marriage would have been at about age 16. I guess that COULD have been true in those days. Maybe that is why he deserted his family of 3 children when my father-in-law was only 9 years old. He may have been overwhelmed at too young an age. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I have been working on this for many years and gave up for a while and worked on other lines. Now I am trying again on Charles. Thank you very much. Mary Lou Taylor
