I really think you have two different women here. The Judson school write-up mentions Ellen McGrede from Alabama, yet you say your research finds Ellen Stone Covington in Texas.

I could be wrong but, again, I think you are researching two different women.

I'll bookmark this and see what I can help you do as I am originally from Longview.
