BAKER and WHITE 1854
Posted by: Nelda Conner Date: January 12, 2000 at 15:59:20
  of 1676

My great-great grandfather Lee Andrew Baker came to Grayson Co. in 1854. He married Mary Katherine Baker in Grayson Co. She was the daughter of Dr. Andrew White. They had three children: Joseph, Henry Thompson and Lee Andrew Baker, Jr. After Lee Andrew Baker was killed in the civil war she married a man named Tarleton G. Bailey. According to my family he accused Lee Andrew Baker Jr. of stealing a horse. Lee Andrew Baker died at the age of 18 in 1869. He was in jail awaiting trial when he died.
After Bailey died she married a man named Miller. Mary Katherine Baker died around 1910 in a horse and buggy accident.
Any information on these families will help.
Thank you
