In the book "An Illustrated History of Grayson County, Texas", is a section with information taken from census and records, not to be confused with biographical sketches submitted by descendants. Luke W. Savage, b MO ca 1817, son of William and Susan, m Mary b. TN ca 1816; ch ______b MO ca 1843; Mary E. b MO ca 1845; Susan C. b TX ca 1847; William F. b TX ca 1849; M.A. b TX ca 1851; M.P. b TX ca 1854. Removed from Dade Co, MO, enered TX 18 Nov 1846, settled Grayson Co. In hh 1860 census, Mrs. Susan Savage. [Most of the above from 1850-60 census] From "Early Settlers of Texas, Grayson Co." deaf and dumb. Also, info on James R. Savage b MO 15 Feb 1819 son of William and Susan. And, Samuel B. Savage b MO ca 1819, son of William and Susan, on 1850 census Mrs. Susan Savage was in the hh of Samuel.
