I would look at every Armstrong family on 1870 census for McMinn Co, TN, see if one has a boy about 2 yrs old named William Henry. Then look for that family on the 1880 census and see if they have the children born after 1870 in the household, too. Since #2 child, Benjamin was not only born in McMinn Co, but married there in 1897, I would guess the family is still there in 1880.
