Thanks for responding to my posting.

According to the 1900 Grayson County TX Census (page 180A), Benjamin Woods and his wife Mary/Mollie had been married 25 years and had no children.

Since my posting, I've been through every Benjamin (in all variations) Wood/Woods in Texas for 1880, and the Benjamin and Mary on page 462 of the 1880 Stephens County (Breckenridge) TX Census are, I'm sure, the same family. In 1880 Mollie indicates her father was born in FL, in 1900 Mary indicates her father was born in FL.

But I still can't place Benjamin, or his presumed brother William, with any family in Tennessee or Texas.

Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.
