Oops, sorry I misunderstood, but good luck. I know what it is like to be desperate enough to go on "fishing" trips. But, nothing ventured, nothing gained. You might post your query on the Texas "unknown" county, too. Since you're not sure where in TX the"big" HALL family is located. It worked for me on one of my KY lines. Also, if you know anything at all about the HALL family, try the TX Handbook Online. Type in HALL, and "play" around with some of the entries. Such a general entry, some will not apply at all. "Hall of Fame" etc, but there are some HALL families.
