I just decided to check out this forum and was surprised to find your note mentioning a Stroud.

I'm trying to locate Nancy(Annie) Stroud from Grayson Co. Originally she married a Stroud who died and then married my great grandfather. She was born October 24, 1854 in TX. She died January 6, 1897, in Choctaw Nation, OK, due to the problems of the birth of my grandmother, Lula E. Baskett on Jan. 1.
My greatgrandfather, Willliam Marion Baskett, b. 2/9/1858 in MO. He married Nancy Stroud about 1879in Grayson Co. She had three children from Stroud when she married my ggrandfather Baskett. I have no idea what her maiden name was, and of course, it drives me crazy!

I just wanted to say, Hello.

Marty...
