This is not my family, but my husband was third generation born in Grayson Co, TX, so I have a little on the county -- You mentioned a book on Grayson Co, TX, you should include title of books when you're using them for sources. I just happen to have a copy of "An Illustrated History of Grayson County Texas", and it shows H.S. Reynolds with son named William G. I believe that is yours, but 1860 census made apparently made an error on name for H.S, probably should have been A. S., as you'll see from following records.

Four youngest on this record match four youngest on 1860 census for Grayson Co, TX; and Charles D. is probably Dawson on 1850 census.

1870 census Grayson Co, TX, named spelled Olman, age 60, b KY land 2000/personal 300 and living with married daughter Elizabeth, her husband and one child.

Up comes a match. Then you can click on his father and the submitter has more on the family. You might want to contact them, find our sources for their material and share what you have.
