Fogles & Elams from Marion Co.,Ky to Grayson Co ca1825~Why?

There was apparently a migratory movement of these families from Ky to this NE area of Texas and I have both, Fogle and Elam lines in my geno. More specifically, I'd like to know what caused these folks to leave Ky, go to this particular area of TX..I know there was the Donals/on House and maybe it was on the way between one place and another..cattle? I don't know. I do know that my MtDna results seem to point toward a religious movement and since I don't see any results when I search this forum, for either name, it seems odd. They would've been on the line, almost between Grayson and Fannin Co's, in Bells; and I had other Ky kin, move to the Fannin/Hunt/Hopkins etc area, much later.
Any clues?
Thx~Sherry
