Posted by: Robert Gailey (ID *****9881) Date: July 13, 2006 at 13:43:42

I was sent a copy of my Dad William Leander Gailey, Sr WWI Draft Card No 57. He was 24, Live I guesss Route 4, Whitesboro TX was farming and had a wife and two children.
Looking for any information on this wife and children. The card was dated June 1, 1917. I found my Dad in the 1910 Census living in Sherman with Mother, Annie Galey. She died in 1912 and is buried at Rose Hill Sherman. I have found him in the 1930 census with my mother and family.
Looking for marriage license or divorce papers between about 1914 and 1924. In 1924 he married my Mother. I was unaware of first wife and children, but can remember him asking questions and looking in phone books for Gailey names. Any help appreciataed. Leroy Gailey Paint Rock, TX
