Rick Hardcastle is a featured guest at the next meeting of "Save of County" at the Rad ware School in Woodbine on June 13, 2006 at 7pm. Also speaking will be representatives from Texas Farm Bureau and the Texas Cattle Association, both from Austin. They will be discussing what their stance is on the Trans Texas Corridors and what you should do if you wish to fight it. There will be additional seating as well as a video feed into the gymnasium. Beans and Cornbread with tea will be served on the north side so arrive early and sign in and get yourself a seat.
To reach the Woodbine school, take 82 west to flashing light at FM 678. Turn south and go 3 miles. At Woodbine, exit 3164 and head east. The school is 1/4 - 1/2 mile down the road on the right.
TXDot will be holding their official Trans Texas Corridor meetings on July 10th in Gainesville and Sherman. The last meetings for public input were OVER two years ago! It is important for the public to participate in this process to provide input and express concerns that they may have. However, it is equally important to understand that this is an environmental process mandated by the federal government. It is not a process by which the State of Texas will determine whether or not to build the TTC, that decision has already been made (without your input).
July 10 Gainesville - Gainesville Civic Center 311 S. Weaver St.
July 10 Sherman - Sherman Municipal Ballroom 405 N. Rusk St.
