Amos Copley and Angeline Carpenter
Posted by: Martha Caswell (ID *****5945) Date: November 09, 2003 at 12:42:21
  of 1676

Looking for information regarding Amos Copley (Coppley) and Angeline (Angelina) Carpenter. They married March 26, 1863 in Grayson County, Texas and had one child named Stephen Aaron Douglas Coppley in 1864. In 1865 found Amus Copley listed on the indigent familys of Grayson County, Texas.

I am looking for what happened to Amos and Angeline, the son Stephen was found living with his uncle in 1880 as an orphan.

One family story has Amos dying in an indian raid, would like to know more. One story has Angeline remarrying and going to england.

Any and all information or leads are greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Martha Caswell
