Thank you Fred. That would not be the J.H. Bowling I am seeking but maybe a relative. I am seeking one J.H. Bowling who married a Mrs. Mattie E. Lowe, 10 Oct 1896, at Nacogdoches, TX. Certificate #428. Mattie Lowe's two youngest children were wards of William D. Hall Sr. of Denton or Sherman, TX., at the time of the above named marriage. I am unclear what connection the Hall, Bowling, and/or Lowe family have to each other. Information on both J.H. Bowling and Mattie E. Lowe has been very difficult to find. I found the death and burial of William D. Hall Sr. at Lexington, Oklahoma where he had moved sometime after 1900. The two young sons of Mrs. Mattie Lowe moved to Oklahoma with Mr. Hall. Should you find any little tidbit of information on any of these people I would be eternally grateful if you would be so kind as to share it with me.
Best Wishes, Marlene
