I will check in my "McCoy stuff-I really enjoy this family because it was a great source of pride to me -as a kid, to know I had ancestors that fought for Tx,freedom!I also have access to the Gonzales history book-i own one-so will check in that -I do have info. from one of the Forum members -that states that there were Four or five brothers -some of ours went from Mo. to Tx, but others got involved in thst famous Fued in late 1800s,-I don't think any of the Tx. folk bothered with that whole mess.I see that your ancestor is the same generation as my gt.gt.grandmother Martha Ellen McCoy-Lowrys daughter.-I will look and get back to you.!--Llewellyn Rinald
