MY family line is Carraway/Caraway. In researching the children of Ezekiel Carraway of Darlington Co., SC and his descendants - I have been reading all the messages concerning J.M. Rollins. I found him on the 1850 and 1860 census in Alabama and his wife Sinai in Gonzales Co., TX in 1880. I haven't seen any mention of anyone knowing where this family was in 1870 so maybe I can help on this.
1870, Twp. 6, Crenshaw Co., AL, taken 17 Aug, page 2 (image 5 on census).
Rowland, Madison, 48, GA farmer
, Luciney, 40, GA
, George, 16, AL
, Ezekiel, 14, AL
, Mary, 10, AL
, Budy, 6 (female), AL
, James, 4, AL

Since Adeline, age 10, b. AL on the 1880 census is not listed, either an oversite or she hadn't been born yet.

A word of caution of the record compiled by Lewis McCloud. It contains a lot of errors.
