Our Downs /McCullough Family came to Gonzales Co. 1854 -I suspect that quite a few Neighbors made that trip From Morgan Co,Ga. --They went byWagon train then to Indianola By Boat-inland by wagon again --There are very good records on Ancestry.com for Morgan Co. census-andthe morgan Co. site on genforum is good also --Patseyharris has publised some of the early records from Newspapers Stc. in Morgan Co. --Will share what I have and I Will look out for your Lamberths.--llewellyn R.
