Melba,
I just realized who you are! You posted a reply to me about Sally Lambert and William Walker---- way back in the first of the year. (Sorry---had a crash)
I have not done any work on William Walker, but was given my info by a cousin. I don't know what you already have, but William Walker served in the Rev. in North Carolina under Captain Dury Ledbetter. In South Carolina, he served under Capt. C.W. Roberts. in the Artillery.
William lived in Anson Co, NC on the Yadkin river, near the divide between Anson and Rowan Counties of NC.
William and Sarah Lambert's daughter, Nancy Sally Walker married Etheldred Sorrell. Etheldred Sorrell's son, Walker William Sorrell, is who settled in Belmont, Gonzales Co., Tx. ca 1854.
They moved Ga> Chambers Co., Al> Thishamingo, Ms > Belmont. (Etheldred's older brother, John, bought land in Fayette Co., Tx. ca late 1830's)
Robin
